Disney 12/6 & 12/7

We were leaving at 2:30 pm to make the trek to Newark Airport. Continental usually has a lot of direct flights leaving from Newark. 10 minutes before arriving to the airport I began getting sick from my lunch that day. I'm a nervous traveler and often get sick.

Madeline did well on the flight. At first a little scared of the turbulence but then found it to be quite fun! Unfortunately, my husband did not see it as being fun. The best three things I bought for her on this flight were: starbursts - which helped immensely with her ear pain when we were landing. A sticker book. Also, a princess kit that you could "color" the outfits which was actually sparkly paper. It kept her occupied because she would not fall asleep!

We had quite a crazy bus driver. Actually, a lot of Disney Bus Drivers drive crazily - borderline Guatemala-Crazy. When we got to the first hotel, E grabbed our bag and another lady who reminded me of Betty from the Rugrats, darted past us to the door to get in line first. This was only one of many, many of the crazy people we encountered on vacation.

On this night Madeline had a hard time going to bed. She wanted all three of us in bed and it just was not happening. She ended up falling asleep in bed with her daddy- much to his dismay! He had intended to have a bed all to himself all vacation long. Did.not.happen :)

She woke up very cheery in the morning. She was so excited over everything. We checked out of this hotel and checked into Coronado Springs. We stayed at the Coronado on our honeymoon and enjoyed the theming. I don't think that we'll be staying here again until our future kids are older and out of strollers. To be quite honest staying at a bus-only resort was very hard/tiring with a stroller. Most days we were on the bus 4 times, in and out of the stroller, and if you were not fast enough the other guests would get impatient. I think we'll need to stick with a monorail resort in the future.

After checking into the Coronado, our room was ready after breakfast. We then had to wait for them to deliver our luggage. After some confusion we finally had luggage and were off to the Animal Kingdom..

We got fastpasses for the Safari and in the meantime we took the train up to the affection section so M could see the animals. She didn't want to pet any of the animals but referred to all of them as donkeys. Once we were done here we ate at the PIzzafari. The restaurants in Animal Kingdom are always insane and this day was no different. We were walking over to a table when another "Betty" came running like a pig that just got loose from the farm to take over the table. Being the non-confrontational person that I am just walked away and eventually found another table. By the time E came back with lunch, we were rushing through lunch to go get on the safari because our hour window for our F.P was almost up. Madeline loved seeing all of the animals. Ooh'd, and ahh'd, and pointed at each of them. We didn't do much more at the AK, mostly because the lines were 40 minutes long and she just was not able to do that. Next time though...

We went to get back onto the bus... and there was such a long line. We were definitely going to be standing. I turn around and notice the bus line for the Boardwalk.. and in a split second decided to go there since we were going to be eating dinner at Beaches & Cream. We really should have got off at the Beach Club but didn't know any better. After some confusion we finally found our way... The food was OK, and the ice cream was fantastic. We probably wouldn't eat there again but would get dessert there...

We headed back to the room to relax a bit since we were going to Hollywood Studios for extra magic hours. We saw the Osborne Lights which was utterly amazing. M just loved the fake snow.
