Today was my mothers Memorial Day picnic. Madeline had a blast playing with the fountain, swimming in the pool, and having not only a popsicle but an ice cream sandwich as well! Today was also cousin Alexus' birthday! Happy 7th birthday, Alexus! Tomorrow is picnic #2 at my mother-inlaws. Hopefully Madeline will feel more comfortable to get off my lap and play with Kiersten and Alexus who are dying to play with her! Oh and one last thing.. Madeline met her Aunt Rosie and Uncle Denny for the first time today. My Aunt Rosie was very supportive of us during our adoption and it was very nice to see her, and for her to finally meet Miss Madeline!

Family picnics are fun, but hard for the kids sometimes. So many people it is overwhelming.

The girl's had so much fun with their lil' cousin they've been waiting for this day : ) It was so cute to watch them all playing together, just the girl's cousin Mikey was having fun with the pink bubble mower....lol....They were so sad when Madeline had to leave, they formed a bond with her : )
